Comments |
The third and most successful single from his "Free To Be Myself" LP, the 'A' side's a wonderful slice of slinky swamp soul. Starr's raw voice has seldom sounded as good, especially when he lets loose that patented screech with the background singers chanting '15 and 18 is 33'. Nice wah wah guitar to boot. The flip side's a pretty, if slightly bland ballad that would have been better with a less elaborate arrangement.
