Last year I added a list of my top five favorite album finds.
I'm sitting in our rental home looking at a canal in our back yard. It's sixteen degrees outside. The canal is frozen over and the ducks are bouncing and skidding as they try to land on the water. Against that backdrop I guess it's never too early to start the 2026 list with an overlooked mid-'60s soul classic.
