The mid-1970s saw an explosion of double live concert sets - literally everyone and their mothers' seemingly releasing an in-concert documentary.  1976's "Live & On the Move" saw R&B legend James Cotton join the ever growing throng.   Recorded at the Shaboo Inn in Willmantic, Conn. the results are fairly interesting.  Backed by a first rate band (guitarist Mat Murphy deserving special recognition), material such as "One More Mile", the group sing along "Flip Flop & Fly" and the pretty ballad "Goodbye My Lady" showed Cotton to be in good form.  Our only real complaint stems from the fact the four sides would have benefited from severe pruning.  Had this been reduced to a single album it would have made for a pseudo-classic release.
