Not to be mistaken for the hideously rare psych outfit from ,these guys are of minor interest to me in that they're from the Washington, DC area and I vaguely remember seeing them open for some name act (maybe The Chieftains).

Featuring a mixture of originals and traditional covers, 1975's "Fresh Produce" offered up a mildly entertaining set of folk and bluegrass moves.  I'll be candid and tell you they're far too country for my tastes, but I can still admire their professionalism and a couple of tracks ('Everybody Loves My Baby') actually rocked a little.  Elsewhere, guitarist Mark Walbridge sounded a bit like Graham Nash (if he'd grown up in rural Virginia) on the pertty ballad 'Moonshine Girl'.  Personal favorite, the atypical eastern-influenced instrumental 'Muvu Aahaa'.
