I don't know a great deal about the Tribute label (does anyone ?). It was based in New York City and seems to have some sort of link to the larger World Records label. Tribute only seems to have released about a dozen albums including a couple with ties to former Tea Company front man Frankie Carr and a bunch of anonymous country-flavored albums. None are easy to locate and as far as I know, none have ever been reissued.
Recent changes: - 25 July 2014: Received a phone call from Larry Bene who had actually bought my copy of his LP. A young 82, Bene was kind enough to tell me a little bit about his relationship with Frankie Carr and how the LP came to be recorded.
